I opened the.tiff file and saved it to Acrobat. I want to print the information in the file & I can't get the Acrobat file to open in Adobe Reader 9.0 (.pdf), even though the file says it's in a.pdf format.
When I try to print the.tiff file, the outputprints a quarter of the whole page (it comes out extremely oversized) and I have no way to change the output sizing (I've changed all the printer settings, reduced margins, etc., to no avail). The.tiff document is text that I need to print, and is a multi-pagedocument.
Trying to print sections of the.tiff image so I get everything has been very frustrating, not to mention an extreme waste of paper. Document is needed for a time sensitive legal briefing.Suggestions would be welcome for any of the above. Even if you could give me a way to shink the.tiff object so one page fits on one piece of paper, that'd be great.
The tiff extension is for a TAGGED IMAGE FILE, not the correct ending for a.doc or.txt file. The.tiff should be opened in wordpad or notepad by right clicking on the file, then when it has opened you can use the save as option to apply the correct extension.Because Adobe has no native means for converting the file, it cannot alter the way the file is handled through your printer, either, whereas both wordpad and notepad can both allow you to make any needed changes as to how the document prints out.
Good luck!!!There are no wrong questions. The easiest thing in the world to get is a wrong answer!!!
